About The Event

One of Britain’s greatest ever Folk Rock bands who cut such progressive rock milestones as ‘Grave New World’ and ‘Bursting at the Seams’ and hit singles like ‘Lay Down’, ‘Part of The Union’, Down By The Sea regroup with their most successful 1973/4 line-up, plus Wakeman Jnr!
The Strawbs are still unique band who originally fused their British Folk origins with Progressive Rock to cut a handful of memorable albums, including From the Witchwood, Grave New World, Bursting at the Seams, and Hero & Heroine.
Their reappearance at the sell out Cambridge Rock Festival and a hugely successful tour of the US & Canada put them back in the spotlight, where they belong!
The Strawbs return with Dave Cousins, Chas Cronk, Dave Lambert, Rod Coombes and Oliver (Rick’s son) Wakeman on keyboards for what should be a memorable night!
